{"id":991,"date":"2024-11-25T11:19:43","date_gmt":"2024-11-25T08:19:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/safirtuz.com.tr\/about-us\/"},"modified":"2025-05-23T18:31:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T15:31:12","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/safirtuz.com.tr\/en\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Established in 1985 as \u201cTurkey\u2019s First Rock Salt Factory,\u201d  Safir Salt was found in cooperation with the Governorship of \u00c7ank\u0131r\u0131 and \u00c7anta\u015f \u00c7ank\u0131r\u0131 Salt Products Manufacturing and Distribution Inc., a subsidiary of the \u00c7ank\u0131r\u0131 Provincial Administration.<br>\n\n<br>The facility is strategically located at the 4th kilometer of the \u00c7ank\u0131r\u0131\u2013Ankara highway, just 130 km from Ankara, and is built on a total area of 41,450 m\u00b2.\nSAFIR SALT is operating a rock salt cave, 20 km away from the facility, known to have been used since the Hittite period and unaffected by environmental pollution. The raw salt extracted from here by the mole method without using explosives is refined in salt processing factories and packed without being damaged. Various analyses done in accredited institutions and organizations, as well as in Safir Tuz A.\u015e. Food Quality Control Laboratories and becomes ready for consumption in the distribution chain..<br>\n\n<br>As the first salt factory in T\u00fcrkiye, as a result of investments made to increase food, environmental and employee safety and to improve process efficiency, the monthly production capacity of 3.000 tons has been increased to 10.000 tons.
